Quick answer. Three gangs in GTA 6 already have names: Final Chapter MC, an outlaw motorcycle club from Ambrosia; PTT Youngin$, a street gang from Southside, Vice City; and San4San, a Haitian crew whose “S4S” chain flashes past at a car meet in Trailer 1. Around them sit the crews built by the story’s supporting cast — bank robber Raul Bautista, Vice City mogul Boobie Ike and Keys smuggler Brian Heder — and, on the other side of the law, up to eight police agencies. Whether all of this adds up to San Andreas-style turf wars is the question fans want answered most.

The three named gangs

Final Chapter MC — the bikers of Ambrosia

Rockstar’s official screenshot of Ambrosia shows a line of riders in black leather, and the patch on their backs reads Final Chapter. The smaller rocker underneath says “est. 1982” — a small detail that gives the club forty years of history before Jason and Lucia ever show up. Ambrosia is sugar-mill country in the middle of the state, flat and rural, the kind of place where an MC (a motorcycle club, in biker shorthand) can run a bar, a garage and a few less legal sidelines without anyone in Vice City noticing.

Fans who have gone frame by frame describe the club’s colors as black, their bikes as the Avarus and Sovereign, and their signature weapon as the Mustang .357 revolver. Two real-world comparisons suggest themselves: the Bandidos, for the look of the patches, and the Warlocks, a club with deep roots in Florida. In GTA, bikers have always followed one pattern since The Lost and Damned — a legal front, a clubhouse, and organized crime behind it. All signs point to Final Chapter being the game’s version of that.

PTT Youngin$ — the street gang of Southside

This one comes straight from Rockstar. The Ultimate Edition page describes a bonus job: raid the compound of a gang that Rockstar calls one of the loudest and most socially active in Southside Vice City, get out alive, and walk away with special items and unique contraband. The gang is PTT Youngin$, and the compound is theirs.

Southside is one of the districts Rockstar has named (see Vice City districts), and “socially active” is a pointed phrase — it paints a crew that films itself, posts everything and lives online as much as on the block. Expect the raid to double as an introduction: a gang with an illegal goods compound, a stockpile worth stealing and every reason to remember your face afterwards.

San4San — the S4S chain at the car meet

Trailer 1 lingers for a moment on a car meet, and one of the men in the crowd wears a thick chain spelling out “S4S”. That is San4San — sometimes written San 4 San — and so far the chain is all Rockstar has shown. Fans read the crew as Haitian and as a modern take on the Haitian gang from the 2002 Vice City, which would make them the first faction to bridge the old game and the new one. Judging by the setting, cars and street racing are their world. Some fans also put them in the apartment block the extended look opens on, reading the armed crew there as San4San — Rockstar named nobody in that scene, so it stays a theory. More will surface closer to release.

An Extended Look: how the street answers back

The showcase opens on a crew with no name. Jason and Lucia walk into a Vice City apartment block to pick something up for Boobie Ike, the pickup goes wrong, and the pair end up shooting their way down and out past the police who storm the building.

The Criminal Profile is RDR2’s honour system rebuilt without a moral axis. There is no good or bad reading — there is a pattern. Needless violence and extra chaos change how people and the world react to you in free roam and can bend the main story; small civic gestures count the other way. Crimes committed on missions, or in fights you did not start, do not necessarily move the needle.

Underneath it sits something more concrete: residents keep score. Pointless violence lowers trust, and it shows up in two places you can measure — the dialogue you get in side quests and the prices you pay in shops. The street is not passive either: some passers-by are armed, some start the fight themselves rather than run, and robbing a store can end with the customers physically resisting.

The criminal economy has its own fixed points. Loot goes to specialised fences — one for jewellery, another for cars — and the car fence will pass you a tip, like the gate code to a police impound. Stolen cash has to be laundered through them before it counts as yours. None of that is a gang, but it is the first look at who the underworld’s standing characters are. The full list of what was shown has the rest.

Crews, not gangs: the factions around the cast

GTA 6 is a story about Jason and Lucia, and every supporting character introduced so far is effectively a faction of their own.

Law enforcement: who chases you

The other side of the ledger is just as crowded. Vehicle liveries and building signage across the trailers and screenshots name up to eight agencies:

Agency Where it operates
Vice City PD Vice City
Vice Beach PD Vice Beach
Vice-Dale PD Vice-Dale (fan-mapped county)
Port Gellhorn PD Port Gellhorn
Ambrosia County Sheriff Ambrosia and the sugar-mill interior (fan-mapped county)
Leonard County Sheriff Leonard County (fan-mapped)
Highway Patrol Agency State highways
Leonida Department of Corrections Leonida Penitentiary, seen in Trailer 1

City departments, county sheriffs, a highway patrol and a prison system add up to a layered police structure — different uniforms and cars depending on where you get caught. How the wanted levels, response times and escapes work is covered in Police and wanted system.

What fans expect

The 2002 gangs coming back. The original Vice City had a Colombian cartel, the Cubans, the Haitians, the Diaz cartel, the Forelli family and a biker gang. Fans want all of them. The catch is that GTA 6 lives in the HD universe, separate from the 3D-era games, so any returning faction would be a reinterpretation rather than a continuation — San4San is the model for how that might look.

Turf wars. The footage shows different groups holding different ground — Vice City, Ambrosia, Port Gellhorn, the Keys, Grassrivers — and fans read that as the setup for a territory system like San Andreas had. The extended look did not move this along: 27 minutes of gameplay, and the closest thing to a reputation system was the Criminal Profile, which tracks how you behave rather than who holds what. The map is drawn like a place where a takeover could happen; the takeover itself is still ahead.

Bikers running businesses. The Lost and Damned set the template: a clubhouse, legitimate fronts, and the criminal economy underneath. Final Chapter MC looks built to repeat it, and Ambrosia gives them the space to do it.

For how gangs tie into the crime systems themselves — hostages, robberies and the rest — see Crimes in GTA 6.

FAQ

How many gangs are confirmed in GTA 6? Three have names so far: Final Chapter MC (bikers, Ambrosia), PTT Youngin$ (street gang, Southside Vice City) and San4San (Haitian crew, Vice City). The extended look adds a fourth on screen without naming it — the armed crew Jason and Lucia meet in a Vice City apartment block. The crews around Raul Bautista, Boobie Ike and Brian Heder act as factions in the story without being gangs in the strict sense.

Who are PTT Youngin$? A street gang from Southside, Vice City, which Rockstar describes as one of the district’s loudest and most socially active. The Ultimate Edition includes a mission to raid their compound for special items and contraband.

Who are San4San (S4S)? A crew spotted at the Trailer 1 car meet through a chain reading “S4S”. Fans read them as a Haitian gang and a modern take on the Haitians from the 2002 Vice City, and some tie them to the unnamed armed crew in the extended look opening. Rockstar has confirmed neither reading.

Who are Final Chapter MC? An outlaw motorcycle club from Ambrosia. Their patch on the official screenshot reads “est. 1982”; fans describe black colors, Avarus and Sovereign bikes and the Mustang .357 revolver.

Will the Vice City 2002 gangs return in GTA 6? Fans hope for the cartel, the Cubans, the Haitians and the bikers, but GTA 6 is set in the HD universe, separate from the 2002 game — any comeback would be a reinterpretation. San4San is the closest thing to one so far.

Will there be territory wars like in San Andreas? Not shown. The map puts different groups in different regions, and fans expect a turf system built on that, but the 27-minute extended look went by without one. What it did show is the Criminal Profile and a trust system among residents — the world reacts to how you behave, not yet to who holds which block.

Which police forces are in GTA 6? Liveries and signage point to up to eight: Vice City PD, Vice Beach PD, Vice-Dale PD, Port Gellhorn PD, Ambrosia County Sheriff, Leonard County Sheriff, the Highway Patrol Agency and the Leonida Department of Corrections.
