The Goodtime State – Vice City Collection: GTA 6 Collector's Box

Somewhere in Leonida there is a TV show about a pink alligator with a cigarette and a flamingo blood martini, and on September 24 its merch walked out of the game and into the Rockstar Store. Grand Theft Auto VI: The Goodtime State – Vice City Collection is a limited black box inspired by Macca the Gator, the star of that show. Eleven items inside, $399.99 on the price tag, shipping from November 19. The game is not in it.

The name rings a bell if you’ve read our outfits page: in the game, Goodtime Gear is the merch line of Macca’s show. Now the same idea exists on our side of the screen, and I’ll admit I went through the store page twice. Once for the figure. Once for the line about the poster, because the back of that poster is the first place Rockstar has promised a full map of Leonida.

Everything in the box

The box is black, with Vice City Leonida across the lid and the VI logo with its palm trees on the front. Here’s what’s inside, in the order we go through it below.

Macca the Gator figure

This is the centrepiece, and the one item I’d actually keep on my desk. Macca stands about six inches tall, 118 × 128 × 161 mm by the store’s numbers, with a cigarette and a flamingo blood martini, which tells you everything about the show he hosts. The base twists open, and inside it sits a small stash compartment.

The body is PVC and the base is ABS, and this is where the tech artist in me perks up. PVC takes paint and fine sculpted detail well. ABS is the harder plastic and keeps a screw thread true. A twist-open base that starts wobbling after the tenth turn would kill the joke, so the stiff plastic went exactly where it’s needed.

Oakley Frogskins sunglasses

These are real Oakley® Frogskins™, and that alone explains a good chunk of the price. Matte black frame, Prizm Sapphire lenses (the mirrored blue in the photo) and a pink GTAVI logo. Prizm is Oakley’s contrast-boosting lens line; Sapphire is its blue mirror version.

The frame is O-Matter, Oakley’s nylon composite. The lenses are Plutonite, which is their name for polycarbonate, and the nose pads and earsocks, the rubber tips on the arms, are Unobtainium. Frame width is 137 mm, lens 55 mm, bridge 17 mm, temple 138 mm. If you already own a pair of sunglasses that fits, hold them up to those numbers before you spend four hundred dollars. Care is simple: warm water, a drop of mild soap, let them air dry, then the Oakley microfibre that comes in the box.

New Era 9FORTY A-Frame snapback

White, black and pink, with Macca, Vice City Leonida in embroidery and appliqués, and a sun in sunglasses plus a seaplane on the visor. It’s a snapback, so the size adjusts at the back: one size fits 7 to 7 5/8, roughly 55.8 to 60.6 cm around the head.

The cap is 100% polyester, the decoration is PVC and 3D embroidery, and the care label says dry clean only. Dry clean only on a cap is a polite way of telling you not to wear it to the beach, which is a funny instruction for a hat from Vice City.

Macca the Gator magnetic mirror

A pink electroplated glass mirror with Macca and the logo on it. Lay it flat and it’s a tray; hang it on the wall and the two magnets on the back hold it in place. Electroplated means the pink is a thin metal coat on the glass, so you get a tinted reflection instead of a painted surface.

It’s double glass with a magnetic strip, 228.6 × 304.8 × 5 mm. That’s exactly 9 × 12 inches, a normal frame size, so it won’t look odd next to your other stuff on the wall.

Chunkee the Manatee shot glass

Chunkee the Manatee sits on the front of a shot glass. A manatee, if you haven’t met one, is a slow, round sea mammal that Floridians call a sea cow, and one turns up in the key art right next to Macca. The Rockstar logo is laser-engraved on the bottom, so you see it when the glass is empty.

Vice City swizzle spoon

A long cocktail spoon with an enamel Vice City logo and a Rockstar logo at the tip. Then the fine print: it’s decorative, and the store marks it “Not for food contact”. Stainless steel coated in zinc alloy, around 150 × 15 × 5 mm.

A swizzle spoon you shouldn’t put in a drink made me laugh. It makes sense once you look at the whole box as a set of props from Macca’s world rather than a bar kit.

Vice City razor blade keychain

A keychain shaped like a razor blade, with GTAVI and Vice City logos embossed on it. Silver-plated zinc, edges dulled so it won’t cut through your pocket, and a welded chain. The blade is 40.9 × 19.4 × 1 mm with a 2.15 mm tip; the ring is 32 mm.

Now put the mirror, the blade, the little spoon and the stash bag side by side. The box tells a joke that 1980s Vice City would have understood without a caption, and the 2002 game was Rockstar’s love letter to Scarface in the first place. I’m not going to spell it out, and neither does Rockstar.

Leonida Keys crossbody bag

Black ripstop, the fabric with a reinforced grid woven in so a small tear doesn’t run. You can wear it across the chest or around the waist. Outside there are woven patches with Macca, the seaplane, the sun and the logo, plus a branded embossed YKK zipper pull. Inside is a black and pink patterned lining made from recycled polyester.

It measures 14 × 5.6 × 3.9 inches, about 35.6 × 14.2 × 9.9 cm, and it’s named after Leonida Keys, the island chain of the state. If the figure is for the desk, this is the one I’d carry every day.

Leonida Keys enamel pin set

Nine enamel pins: the seaplane, Macca, the sun, a manatee, a flamingo, a lowrider, and the VI, Vice City and Rockstar logos. They’re zinc alloy with hard epoxy enamel.

They come in a metal tin whose lid is styled after a GTA cover, that grid of illustrated panels every main GTA box has worn since GTA III. The tin is 4 5/8 × 6 × 0.8 inches, about 11.7 × 15.2 × 2 cm. Honestly, the tin is the clever part. I’d keep it long after the pins end up on the bag.

Leonida Keys sticker pack

Nine vinyl stickers packed in a Mylar stash bag, the shiny foil-like film snack bags are made of. They’re crack-and-peel, which means the backing is pre-split so you can lift a corner without picking at it with a fingernail.

Sizes run from 117.5 × 61.5 mm up to 126 × 185 mm, and the bag is 12.6 × 16.2 cm. Nine is enough for a laptop lid and a console, with a couple left over for whoever you’ll be playing with in November.

Double-sided poster with the Leonida map

The front is a Vice City Leonida illustration with characters from the Macca the Gator show. The back, in the store’s own words, is “a full view of the Leonida map”. Paper, 36 × 26 inches, about 91 × 66 cm.

That second sentence is why this item gets the longest section. Rockstar has shown Leonida in trailers, in screenshots and in An Extended Look, and none of it came with a map of the state. Everything fans know about its shape has been pieced together from frames, which we cover on the Florida map page. So the first official map of Leonida is due to arrive in a merch box, shipping on the day people start playing.

The tech artist in me did the maths straight away. Scan a 36-inch sheet at 300 dpi and you get an image 10,800 pixels wide, nearly three times the width of a 4K trailer frame. I’d bet the fan mappers will be first in line for this box, and I get it. I’d want to lay that map next to theirs and see how close everyone got.

Price, release date and where to buy

Pre-orders opened on September 24, 2026, “while supplies last”, and the box ships from November 19, 2026, the day GTA 6 comes out (our countdown is ticking). The store says the collection is “currently only available in limited quantities”; if it sells out, you can add it to your wishlist.

Asia, Latin America and Australia are marked “stay tuned for details”, and in other regions the store page simply shows “not available in your region”. Rockstar’s own collection page adds that more GTA VI Collection apparel and collectibles are on the way.

What’s not in the box

The game. The store says it plainly: “Grand Theft Auto VI game sold separately”. Every item on the list is physical, and the free Vintage Vice City Pack comes with pre-ordering the game, not with this box.

For scale, the Standard Edition is $79.99 and the Ultimate Edition is $99.99, with both tiers laid out on the editions page. The price of this box buys five Standard Editions, with four cents left over.

Is it worth it? I go back and forth. Real Oakleys and a real New Era carry their own price, the figure with the hidden base is a good object, and the map on the back of the poster is something no edition gives you. But everything that matters inside the game sits in the $79.99 and $99.99 tiers, so this box is for the shelf and not for your save file. If you want one thing from Leonida in your hands before launch, the vinyl costs a lot less.

Somewhere in Leonida, Macca is on TV right now, cigarette in one hand and martini in the other. In November he’ll be standing on a few shelves on our side of the screen too, guarding a stash that’s probably empty.
