When does GTA 6 come out?
November 19, 2026 on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. Rockstar locked the date in late 2025 and Take-Two has repeatedly confirmed it won’t move again. Full delay history and countdown.

Is GTA 6 coming to PC?
Not at launch — only the console versions are announced. Rockstar shipped GTA V and RDR2 on PC one to two years after their console debuts; nothing is confirmed for GTA 6 yet. Our hardware analysis: PC Requirements.

How much does GTA 6 cost?
$79.99 for the Standard Edition, $99.99 for the Ultimate Edition (USD; regional pricing varies by store). Officially confirmed by Rockstar on June 25, 2026, when pre-orders opened. Is there a pre-order bonus?
Yes. Every pre-order includes the Vintage Vice City Pack: the two-tone ’55 Vapid Stanier with a Shore Court Garage, retro outfits for Jason and Lucia, and a Tommy Vercetti-style palm-tree weapon pattern. Digital pre-orders also get a free month of GTA+.

Who are the protagonists?
Jason Duval and Lucia Caminos, a criminal couple at the center of the story. Lucia is the series’ first fully voiced, non-optional female protagonist. The full arc: Story Guide.

How big is the map?
Rockstar hasn’t published a figure in km², but Rob Nelson has given a comparison: three times the size of the RDR2 map. Community analysis of the trailers estimates roughly 125 km² of landmass — about 2.6x GTA V’s land — across six regions with no loading screens.

Has Trailer 3 come out?
Yes — on August 27, 2026, as Grand Theft Auto VI: An Extended Look: 27 minutes of gameplay captured on PS5, first on Netflix and free on YouTube the same evening. Scene-by-scene: Trailer 3 breakdown.

How many wanted stars does GTA 6 have?
Six, back after GTA 5’s five. The police track your face, outfit and car as separate icons under the stars, and each can be shaken off on its own — how the wanted system works.

Can you switch between Jason and Lucia?
Freely in the open world, and you can call the other one over to join you; a few story moments lock the switch. Two protagonists, explained.

Are there cheat codes?
There will be — every mainline GTA has shipped with them. No real codes exist until the game does; we publish the verified list within an hour of launch: Cheats page.

Is GTA 6 Online at launch?
No. The November 19 release is single-player; the online mode arrives later. What’s reported so far: GTA 6 Online.

Where can I find official GTA 6 artwork?
On Rockstar’s own site — the official GTA 6 pages host the key art, character artwork and wallpapers, and that’s the only place they’re published in full resolution by the rights holder: rockstargames.com/VI.
