Quick Answer: An Extended Look turned this question into a list. Mini golf, kayaking, scuba diving, skydiving, the gym as a minigame, the zoo with an RDR2-style animal compendium, basketball, darts, pool, street racing, car customization, nightclubs, petting dogs, TV, radio, salons, clothing stores and eating are all in the game, most of them playable alone or as a couple. Rockstar’s own copy for Mount Kalaga National Park adds hunting, fishing and off-roading. The full feature list from the showcase runs to 135 entries; this page sorts what’s known by where you’d do it.
By region: what each place is for
| Region | What you can do there | Status | |
|---|---|---|---|
![]() |
Mount Kalaga | Hunting, fishing, off-roading | Confirmed by Rockstar |
![]() |
Grassrivers | Airboat traversal (Panther, Airboat 09, Diamondback); wildlife encounters incl. hostile alligators | Confirmed |
![]() |
Leonida Keys | Boats and jet skis, causeway driving, underwater reef life | Confirmed vehicles |
![]() |
Vice City | Nightclubs and strip clubs, beaches, city driving | Locations confirmed |
![]() |
Port Gellhorn | Dirt bikes — named by Rockstar as the local pastime | Confirmed |
![]() |
Ambrosia | Cane fields, crop dusters, biker-gang presence | World detail confirmed |
The pattern is deliberate: each region has its own transport and its own texture, so “what you can do” changes depending on where you are rather than being one activity list repeated across the map.
Confirmed by Rockstar’s own words
Confirmed
Hunting, fishing and off-roading. Rockstar’s Mount Kalaga National Park description names all three outright. This is the strongest tier of evidence on the whole page — not a screenshot reading, but the studio’s own marketing copy. Fishing then showed up in An Extended Look; how a hunt actually plays out — how you track an animal, how you take the shot — has not been shown.
Wildlife as a system, not scenery. Confirmed animals include deer, cougars and bears in Kalaga, alligators in Grassrivers, and sea turtles and reef fish in the Keys. Rockstar explicitly describes the Grassrivers alligators as hostile, which makes them a threat rather than decoration. Full breakdown: Wildlife.

Sport and play. Mini golf, kayaking, scuba diving, skydiving, basketball, darts and pool are all activities you start yourself, and the gym is a minigame whose results — muscle, strength — stay visible on the character. Street racing and car customization are shown as gameplay rather than as scenery.
Everyday life. The zoo can be walked and its animals studied, with every new species logged in a compendium; dogs can be petted or told off; TV and radio carry more ads than any GTA before; salons and clothing stores each stock exclusive items worth the drive; eating restores a solid chunk of health, and overeating adds weight. Most of it works alone or as a couple. Full breakdown with screenshots: GTA 6 Activities.
Getting around and getting fed. Bus stops double as fast travel — ride the route or skip to your stop — and the Ryde Me taxi offers the same choice. Drive-thru windows are fully working: order from the car and the meal gives a short-lived boost to your stats. Shops have shelves you reach for yourself, RDR2-style, and a haircut skips RDR2’s waiting game entirely — any length is available on the spot, at home or in a salon. The full feature list has the rest.

A few things remain background rather than system: tattoos as a mechanic (the Electric Fang shop is confirmed, the chair is not), car washing (an NPC in Ambrosia), and bar fights as a distinct activity rather than ordinary melee combat.
The bigger gaps are property ownership and business management, neither of which Rockstar has described. The online mode’s activities are a separate matter: online arrives after the November 19 launch, so nothing about it applies to day one.
FAQ
What can you actually do in GTA 6?
Mini golf, kayaking, scuba diving, skydiving, the gym, the zoo, basketball, darts, pool, street racing and car customization, plus hunting, fishing and off-roading in Mount Kalaga National Park. Traversal covers airboats in Grassrivers, boats and jet skis in the Leonida Keys, and dirt bikes in Port Gellhorn.
Are there animals in GTA 6?
Yes. Confirmed wildlife includes deer, cougars and bears in Mount Kalaga, alligators in Grassrivers — which Rockstar describes as hostile — and sea turtles and reef fish in the Keys.
Is hunting confirmed in GTA 6?
Yes. Rockstar’s own Mount Kalaga National Park copy names hunting directly, alongside fishing and off-roading, and fishing turned up in An Extended Look. Hunting mechanics have not been shown.
Can you play golf or pool in GTA 6?
Yes. Pool is a bar minigame, alongside darts, and mini golf is an open-world activity you can play alone or as a couple. The full-size course glimpsed behind Cal Hampton is a separate question — that one is still just background.
Can you buy property or run businesses in GTA 6?
Not confirmed. Rockstar has not shown or described either system. Confirmed businesses like the Electric Fang tattoo shop are Ultimate Edition content, not stated to be player-owned.
