GTA 6 Gameplay & Fun Systems — What's Confirmed So FarRumorhow we verify

| Systems tracked | 6: nightlife, gangs, crimes, money, business, outfitsConfirmed |
|---|---|
| Directly confirmed | Bank/store robbery, 7 named businesses, edition outfit setsConfirmed |
| Inferred from screenshots only | Gangs, broader nightlife mechanicsRumor |
Beyond named vehicles, weapons, and activities, official GTA 6 media hints at the systems running underneath — how you make money, who you fight, what you wear. This hub groups those “fun” gameplay threads together instead of splitting each into its own thin page, honestly labeled for how confirmed each one is. For character-driven mission speculation, see Character Missions.
Nightlife
City confirmed, system unconfirmed
Vice City lit up at night is one of the most consistent visual threads across both trailers — neon streets, crowded sidewalks, and a music scene built around Real Dimez. For the club buildings themselves, see Points of Interest. Whether “nightlife” is its own tracked system or just how the world looks after dark, as in every prior GTA, isn’t detailed.
Gangs
Unconfirmed — screenshot only
Gang-coded group scenes appear in Vice City and Port Gellhorn footage; Ambrosia’s biker gang is the one Rockstar’s own copy actually confirms. None of the Vice City or Port Gellhorn groups are named, and no turf/territory system has been shown for 6 specifically.
Crimes
Robbery scenes confirmed
Trailer 1’s bank robbery in skull bandanas is the clearest crime scene Rockstar has shown; store robberies and armed street encounters round out the rest. Raul Bautista — an officially described career bank robber — is the strongest tie-in for a structured heist system, though how heists are mechanically built (crew-based, mission chains, or new) isn’t shown.
Money
Two income paths shown
Two paths to cash are visible in official media: crime (the robberies above) and legitimate business, via the named shops confirmed through the Ultimate Edition. No specific economy system — investment, property flipping — has been shown.
Business
7 named shops
Every named business Rockstar has confirmed comes from the Ultimate Edition roster: Sara’s Unisex Salon, Stock 305, Electric Fang, Rideout Customs, One-Eyed Willie’s, Goodtime Gear, and the PTT Store (full photos on that page). Outside that roster, this Boobie Ike screenshot reads as a bar or club he’s connected to in-world — the one non-bonus business spotted, with player ownership unconfirmed.
Outfits & Skins
Edition-exclusive sets confirmed
Every confirmed piece of outfit/customization content comes bundled into the two paid bonus tiers — the Ultimate Edition’s Vice City Style sets and the Vintage Vice City Pack’s 80s looks. Full photo sets live on Ultimate Edition and Vintage Vice City Pack; whether a broader non-bonus customization system works differently from past games hasn’t been shown.
